I will present an overview of project procurement activities throughout the project management lifecycle and try to relate them.
Plan purchases and acquisitions: This is the first practice in which we will resolve the software development organization services purchasing process.
Plan contracting: The next step in this procurement process is the process of getting and establishing the requirements for all the products and services that will be needed by our project team for the development of our secluding software.

Request seller responses; in this third stage of the procurement process we will identify a list of vendors that can develop our scheduling software.
Select sellers; In this phase, we will select a vendor that will supply the product or service. The project team may make the final ultimate choice, though normally inside an overall procedure that is owned by the purchasing department.
Contract administration; In this phase, we will manage the relationship with the contracted company by which we will develop the software.
Contract closure; This happens if the contractual relationship existed simply for the life or finishing of this software development of this project.

Project procurement activities and contracting activities throughout the project management lifecycle will facilitate us in several ways like we will have some standardized and single tool for the whole organization. And implementation of some web-based solutions seems likely to be the most successful tool. This unites all the departments and also provides the signal platform for the overall working. If we implement web web-based system then we can take advantage of overall connectivity means systems are attached to a single online system, so that some immediate change or development can easily be shared and resolved. The main advantage we can visualize is the facility to share experience, data, and information and also the secluding planes among all departments and PMs. There are lots of negative factors that can happen by continuing as usual. The main negative factor is the lack of standardization. Each PM has its scheduling software that makes the Oval United working difficult and irritating. There is also a lack of communication between PMs is also a negative point. The intended developed product will ensure overall online communication among all project managers. Here the main negative point against this existing system is the lack of sharing of information among PMs and project teams, so this intended system will also facilitate this feature.

The plan contracting process involves the stages of request seller responses, select sellers, contract administration, and contract finality. These phases will facilitate us by offering a more enhanced and standardized process for gathering the best and most diverse supplier information, This information will outline to deal with any and every project that we want to employ. By the adoption of these contracting plan process guidelines, we can have better and enhanced working and dealing with our contractors and this will save the company from the vulnerable to litigation as no set standard applies when awarding contracts. By lacing the contacting plan we can minimize the overall project management flexibly and effectively and improve overall output. This implementation will also help facilitate mitigating risk and help ADC avoid legal conflicts.

So these are all stages of project procurement and contract management that I have discussed through the project management lifecycle point of view. I have also outlined the major advantages and vulnerable regarding their implementation scenario in the project management lifecycle. This discussion will facilitate us to have a better look at the consequences of implementing the Project Procurement and Contract Management guidelines in the management of our project. Read More
