Task: Music Appreciation Critique American society had changed significantly a century after a music curriculum was introduced byLowell Mason into Boston public schools and music educators and critiques developed music appreciation to respond to new demands, concerns and innovations of modern America. Advocates of music appreciation did not see the process of sacralizing a canon of musical masterworks as complete by the turn of the century. Their movement was under pressure from perceived social and moral changes actually took shape at this moment in order to continue the process of sacralizing high art music.

The nineteenth century focused more on update in the new century where they wanted music to be changed while focusing on the modern styles and forgetting the old styles of music. This is the point where classical music was considered to be an all time favorite in music history. One particular effective strategy, for example, was continually conjuring up fears about new forms of popular music, above all the amorphous category of jazz. In one critique of popular music, jazz music was highly appreciated (Alexander, 2009).

Mozart Music Amadeus Mozart is one of the greatest classical musicians who ever lived. His music happens to be among the finest forms of music to date. Classical music is one of the best types of music that nature has ever had and people have decided to appreciate it in all the possible acts. One of the aims of classical music is to promote the culture of a certain people who live within their surroundings. According to Webster, classical music can be categorized according to the impacts that it makes on the lives of their listeners.

Transformation n the world of music can be defined as a process, act or instance of which a genre of music is being played (Goulding, 1995).Dies Irae This was a Latin word that was used in music which refers to the diatonic semitone of the Pythagorean scale. It was also a term that was used in the acapella type of music by Mozart in the 19th century. Instruction in music appreciation went on to build definitions of popular and classical music upon contemporary constructions of race, class and gender, both reflecting and enhancing common stereotypes and prejudices (Dearling) In treating race, class, gender as interrelated, the study on music critiques further expands upon early studies of cultural hierarchy that focused on socioeconomic class and builds upon the work the work of many musicologists that have explored the social construction of music through race and gender.

This is a type of musical poem that is believed to have been written in the thirteenth century by Thomas de Celano. The poem is Latin in nature and it has some stress and thymes that makes it more interesting. This type of music is very common with the Catholic Church since it is used in their mass in the modern world (Alexander).Rex TremendaeThis is a song in Latin that means “Lord of Awful Majesty”. An orchestra chorus that was inspired by Mozart and it was played during prolonged scenes in plays.

Tuba Mirum This was a type of music that mainly entailed using orchestra playing through using different musical instruments and this remains to be one of the finest types of music to date. The tone in this type of music is not very high due to the fact that there are musical instruments used but it is dynamic.Lacrimosa This song was in Latin, the meaning of the song is weeping and it was a part of the Dies Irae music by Mozart. This type of song was mainly slow in tempo but with varied tones.

Symphony This can be described as a form of extended composition of classical music mainly one that is scored for orchestras. This type of music was quite dynamic with varied tones and tempo. Conclusion Finally, all these types of music focused on the tonal variation, they were dynamic and all of them had different tempos. Classical music can also be viewed as a product that has been deemed, and then this means that it up lights a very interesting aspect of culture since it gives the joy of listening to the songs.

The transformation of classical music that has been done through making them their Cd’s the utilization of high culture in all aspects of virtue of and this is want makes most people not to succeed in it but having a fantastic and is appealing to the society.
